THE HOUSE OF THÉA

Made to be looked at slowly.

The Story of Théa

Théa designs for a way of choosing that has mostly disappeared from online shopping: taking the time to look properly before deciding. Our pieces are cut with the structure of British tailoring and finished by hand in small runs, not seasons of thousands. We would rather make fewer things well than explain why more of them are good.

Everything is made within a small number of workshops we visit ourselves. Leather comes from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group; hardware is sourced from suppliers we’ve worked with for years, not the lowest bid this quarter. None of this is unusual in this price range. We just don’t think it needs a marketing campaign to be worth saying.

A shop window lets you look for as long as you like without anyone asking if you need help. That’s the only thing we’ve tried to bring online: room to look properly, at your own pace, before you decide.
